2002 Massachusetts
Drinking Water Awards

Ceremony
Held May 9, 2002 at the Holiday Inn, Mansfield
The
Massachusetts PWS Awards recognize community water systems for outstanding
performance during the previous calendar year. Plaques are given to those
systems that earn at least 90 percent of the possible points achievable
for their category. Points are based on regulatory compliance,
source protection and distribution programs, certification and training of
operators, and community outreach activities.
These annual
awards are given
jointly by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, the
Massachusetts Water Works Association, the Northeast Rural Water
Association, and RHI's Northeast Rural Community Assistance Program.
We are pleased to
